Mr & Mrs Klaus Crochet Pattern

Hook up a cute Christmas Gonk with this crochet pattern, designed by Sharon at Cotton Pod. The pattern is written in UK crochet terms and contains stitch guides and useful photos as a guide.  The pattern predominantly uses dc stitches and works up quite quickly as the Drops Eskimo yarn recommended is chunky ~ it can also be felted in the washing machine.  (Final dimensions once felted: approx 20cm tall, 15cm wide).  

Here are some examples of Mr Klaus Gonks made using this pattern and Eskimo yarn.

The pattern suggests using the following materials:

• DROPS Eskimo          
• 50g - 46 medium grey
• 25g - 51 powder pink
• 50g - 56 Christmas red
• 25g - 01 off white
• 50g Toy stuffing
• 25mm Wooden Snowflake button
• 20mm Silver Bell
• 10mm or 12mm Toy safety eyes x2
• 5mm Gingham ribbon

You will also need:

• 8mm crochet hook
• 3mm or 4mm hook
• Scissors
• Darning Needle
• Sewing needle & thread
