This week has mainly been all about Admin tasks, so today I decided to take a break from all the paperwork and have some felting fun! Quite a few summers ago, my eldest daughter, was really struggling to sleep at night because she was far too hot in bed. Hurrah! At last I have completed a WIP; that I am ashamed to say I have had, in my pile of ‘things I must finish’, since March 2014. Three Easter’s ago I had a romantic notion that it would be very cute to create two Easter bunnies for my girls, that would live in a little suitcase and bring them new little gifts every Easter…an heirloom project. On My Hook: Broomstick Lace Crochet

I have been eager to try Broomstick lace crochet for quite sometime now, then I found a gorgeous pattern for a crochet cowl whilst scouring Pinterest for 'How Broomstick Crochet' posts and could wait no longer! The pattern I fell in love with is called the Broomstick Lace Cowl and can be found on the beautiful Mon Petit Violon blog (free to download). For my cowl I have decided to use DROPS Karisma in Forest Green (colour 47), a 20mm knitting needle and a 4mm hook. The pattern does, however, use a 25mm knitting needle, so I know I will need...
